Pantone selected Ultra Violet as its \u201cColor of the Year\u201d for 2018.<\/p>\n
The reasoning behind the selection wasn\u2019t just random. Pantone Vice President Laurie Pressman told The Associated Press that it is \u201cvery much an optimistic color\u201d intended to bring \u201cpeace and calm,\u201d especially in such chaotic times.<\/p>\n
